History

Historical Context

In 1982 the Milwaukee Brewers captured their only American League pennant, hitting 216 home runs and losing the World Series to the St. Louis Cardinals in the “Suds Series.” After moving to the National League in 1998 and enduring a 26-year postseason drought, the club returned in 2024, where rookie Brice Turang’s solo homer gave the Brewers an early win over the Dodgers, echoing 1982.
