History

Historical Context

Renault’s mid-engine Clio V6, unveiled in 2001 with a 3.0-litre V6 and a production run of about 1,500 units, continued the brand’s hot-hatch lineage that began with the 1991 RSi and the 1980s Renault 5 Turbo. Alpine’s 2024 A310 Vision concept, built on the APP electric platform that also powers the Renault 5 Turbo 3E, shows the same niche-performance strategy now applied to EVs.
