History

Historical Context

In the 2024 wild-card, 7-seed Green Bay (Jordan Love) beat 2-seed Dallas 48–32, marking the first 7-seed playoff win since the NFL expanded to 14 teams in 2020 and extending Green Bay’s 5-0 record at AT&T Stadium. The loss continues Dallas’s longest NFC-championship drought since its 1995 appearance, a rivalry that surged in the 1990s when the Cowboys won three straight postseason meetings.
