Story summary
- YouTube is testing a hidden dislike button on desktop video pages.
- The button now resides under a three-dots overflow menu instead of beside the like button.
- Users on X and Reddit shared screenshots showing the dislike button moved or missing.
- YouTube removed the public dislike count in 2021 and hid it on Shorts earlier in 2024.
- Creators can still view dislike counts on their own videos despite the UI changes.
