Missouri Lawmakers Propose Repeal
- Missouri lawmakers placed Amendment 3 on the Nov. 3, 2026 ballot to repeal the 2024 reproductive-freedom amendment.
- If approved, the amendment would ban abortions except for fetal anomalies, rape or incest within 12 weeks.
- The measure also would prohibit gender-affirming care for minors, extending a 2023 statutory ban.
- ACLU director Tori Schafer says the proposal hides abortion limits and misleads voters.
