History

The 2004 ALCS saw the Boston Red Sox become the only MLB club to erase a 0-3 series hole, winning in seven games and cementing a rare “three-game comeback” narrative. The Tampa Bay Rays echoed that rarity in 2024 ALDS Game 5, rallying from a 3-0 deficit to force a decisive Game 6.
