Pluto TV Expands Library with Classic CW Dramas

Pluto TV, a free ad-supported streaming service owned by Paramount Skydance, is set to enhance its offerings by adding four popular dramas from The CW: “Hart of Dixie,” “Arrow,” “The 100,” and “Everwood.” These shows, which originally aired in the 2000s and 2010s, will be available to viewers starting May 1, 2026, with “Everwood” launching on June 1, 2026. Additionally, the mid-2000s ABC comedy “My Wife and Kids” will also join the platform.

The decision to include these classic series aligns with Pluto TV's strategy to attract a younger audience, particularly Gen Z. A recent NRG research study indicated that 72% of Gen Z viewers prefer content from the 2010s or 2000s. Cindy Holland, chair of direct-to-consumer at Paramount Skydance, noted that Pluto TV's audience aged 18-34 has grown by 30% year-over-year from January 2025 to January 2026. Holland emphasized the importance of creating a curated streaming experience that adds value for both consumers and partners, stating, “Free streaming doesn’t have to be a warehouse, it is a destination.”
