Sevmash Lays Keel

Sevmash laid the keel of the Russian Navy’s tenth Yasen-class nuclear attack submarine, Murmansk.
The Russian Navy now counts ten Yasen-class attack submarines under construction, with Murmansk’s keel laid at Sevmash.
Commander-in-Chief Alexander Moiseyev said the Yasen class is Russia’s most advanced science and technology achievement.
Sevmash is completing twelve hulls in the program, including three additional Yasen-class submarines under construction.
