Microsoft confirmed that the update “might not be available for a limited number of Dell devices with Intel processors” and that the company is “working together with Dell to prevent the affected models from experiencing the issue.” Both firms said a resolution will be released “in the coming days.” Dell advised users who already installed the problematic updates to roll back to the previous version.
