Vatican City opened the “A Century of the Popemobile” exhibition on Oct. 28, 2026.
The exhibit features eight Mercedes-Benz popemobiles from Pope Pius XI’s 1930 Nürburg 460 to a modern electric model.
It also includes an 1886 Benz Patent-Motorwagen and a current Mercedes S-Class.
